This homemade pimento cheese is rich, creamy, and packed with fresh flavor, making it leaps ahead of anything store-bought. It’s made with sharp cheddar cheese, which adds a bite and depth that pre-shredded cheese just can’t deliver. The blend of tangy mayonnaise, diced pimentos, and a hint of smoked paprika makes each bite delightfully creamy and slightly smoky.
This pimento cheese is endlessly versatile: spread on crackers or crusty bread, use it as a dip for veggies, melt it into a grilled cheese, or top a burger with it for a Southern-inspired twist. We love adding the pimento cheese to sourdough bread and adding the traditional BLT toppings! Once you taste this homemade version, you may never go back to store-bought again!
