This delicious balsamic bursts with the aroma and flavor of freshly picked blueberries. The nose of this vinegars is true to fruit: aromatic, ripe blueberries with sweet accents and juicy blueberry flavor. When paired with one of our mild-intensity Extra Virgin Olive Oils, the intense blueberry flavor shines through! The intensity of our Wild Blueberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar is amazing – like squeezing the juice directly from the fruit!
Uses: Pour on cottage cheese or yogurt; drizzle over pancakes, waffles, crepes, toast, bagel or English muffin; drizzle over morning oatmeal or add to your breakfast smoothie. Makes a wonderful substitute for maple syrup, especially when reduced down!
Delicious on chicken – drizzle over chicken salad, chicken wrap or chicken sandwich; Pairs deliciously with feta (goat cheese, blue & brie too!) and cilantro dishes such as shrimp tacos. We love using this a topper for baked brie!
Our favorite salad is a combo of arugula, feta cheese, prosciutto, and walnuts topped with our Aged Wild Blueberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar!
Use as marinade for chicken, pork or game meat such as venison. Sauté scallops in our Lemon Olive Oil and then drizzle with our Wild Blueberry Dark Balsamic to finish! Yummy in BBQ sauces! Reduce it and use as a glaze for roasted chicken, turkey, lamb or duck!
Top your cheesecake with it; stir in brownie or cake batter before baking; Replace added sugar content in blueberry cobbler recipe by adding 2 tablespoons to every ¼ cup brown sugar in recipe – will enhance the berry flavor too! Wonderful simply drizzled over a vanilla pound cake or ice-cream!
