How to: Determine the number of gallons of water needed to completely cover your turkey. For each gallon of cold water use 1 cup on Kosher salt, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 TBSP of Green Tea, Citrus & Garlic Garli Gasm. Add some oranges, squeezing the juice and throwing the rinds into the brine. Add Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar. Submerge the turkey in brine in clean bucket, cooler or pot and keep in a cold place overnight. Rinse turkey, dispose of brine and cook as you normally would
Sweet & Spicy Garli Glazed Yams
– 2 lbs yams or sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2″ chunks.
– 2 Tbsp Sicilian White Balsamic Vinegar
– 4 TBSP Garli Glaze
-2 TBSP butter
– 1 tsp salt
Add the lemon juice to a bowl of cold water and toss in the yams as you work. In a small sauce pan melt the butter over medium heat and add Garli Glaze, stirring to combine. Remove from heat.
Drain the yams and arrange in a baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray. Sprinkle with salt and pour over glaze mixture. Bake at 375 for approximately 25 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a serving dish and pour remainder of glaze from baking pan over yams. Serve hot.
